Interesting. A couple of these things are what I managed to use myself while working on a UX design for a new web app with an Agile team: chunking and buying time with complex engineering stories. And lots of other good ideas there. It's interesting to see this new emergence of thinking about 'Agile Experience Design'. A couple of years ago there was very little around on it.

Hi Ben

If you haven't seen it already, you might want to take a look at Jeff Patton's blog. There are some great articles on there. "Twelve emerging best practices for adding UX work to Agile development" might be of particular use/interest to you.

Cheers,
Stu

I've been wondering about this for some time, since Agile methods don't seem to favour the idea of doing a lot of preparatory design work like user research and storyboarding, etc. The best I could come up with in an actual project was to do UX design in chunks and get a chunk built in a sort of semi-agile way. Anyway, maybe I'll join that group.
