Bristol Usability Group

A Group. About Usability. In Bristol.

Just joined this group so thought it best to add some detail of what I do and think.

I am not a standard usability person. I work in accessible information design so I drift between copy editing (what we say) and technologies (how we say it).

I work a lot in tactile and multimodal design and have developed ideas like http://www.overlayapp.com.

I'm currently interested in new ideas like haptic bracelets for spreading user inputs

and PaperRound for changing ideas of touchscreens and user experiences

http://acuitydesign.blogspot.co.uk/p/paperround-summary-paperroundi....

As we move towards a post-text world, I find the problems of overcomplex visual imagery UI design and the possibilities of new physical interactions interesting.

Always happy to talk and chat about ideas.
